COSI makes a difference
The Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative (COSI) is a primary partner to Aspire Scholarships. Since 2019, our donors have matched three grants totaling $110,000. These grants doubled our scholarship fund and allowed us to award $220,000 during that time. Help us match our next grant request which will be at least $100,000 and double your impact as a donor!
Aspire Scholarship partners with the Prosperity Denver Fund (PDF), a voter passed ballot initiative in 2018 that offers financial reimbursement to qualifying nonprofits that provide college scholarships to Denver students. Funded by a 0.08% sales tax, the ordinance provides grants to organizations that award college scholarships to Denver students who meet PDF residence requirements. Since 2021, Aspire has received more than $25,000 in grants from this fund, increasing our capacity to award more scholarships.
